Days for changes to your own site, once the search index re-fetches it; two to six weeks for a new review profile or a listing, since the engine's index has to pick up the third-party page; longer for editorial mentions. Monthly rescans on the same questions show the movement; a single asking cannot.
What moves fastest
Fixing a crawler block: the next fetch reads the site. Publishing a price or a scope statement on a page that already ranks: the next fetch quotes it. Both are days.
What moves slowest
Getting into a roundup or a 'best X' article, which depends on an editor; and share of voice against a leader with ten times your review count, which depends on reviews accumulating. Both are months, and both are measured in the report month by month so the trend is visible through the noise.
