There is no threshold the engines publish, but the pattern in recorded answers is consistent: below about twenty recent reviews on the platform the engines cite for your category, the answer names the category leaders and stops; above it, you appear in the tail; the top of the list follows the review count and the recency.
Which platform
The one cited for your questions, which the report lists. For local services it is Google Maps; for software, G2 and Capterra; for agencies, Clutch; for consumer brands, Trustpilot. Reviews on a platform the engines do not read for your questions do not count.
Recency over total
A 4.7 with two thousand reviews beats a 4.9 with sixty, and a profile with no review in six months reads as dormant. Ten reviews a month on the right platform is worth more than a hundred once.
