Only if the pages it reads for your buyers' questions name you. ChatGPT with web search assembles its shortlist from review sites, roundups and comparison articles fetched for that question; it has no list of businesses of its own. The way to know is to ask it the questions your buyers ask, with your country set, and record who it names.
How to check without guessing
Asking ChatGPT 'do you know my company' tells you nothing: it will say yes and describe your website. Ask instead what a buyer asks: 'best X in city', 'X for a company like ours', 'A vs B'. Then note who it names and in what order, and which links it shows.
One asking is one sample. Ask fifteen questions across product, niche, head term and comparison, and the pattern is reliable. That is what the free check does, for four engines, and it keeps the answers so the next check is on the same questions.
What decides it
The sources. For most trades it is a review platform (G2, Google Maps, Trustpilot, Clutch), one or two roundups in the trade press, and threads on Reddit. A company on those pages is named; a company with only its own website is named for the questions its own pages answer plainly, and absent from the rest.
