Questions

Does AI visibility matter for a business in the UAE?

Updated September 2026 · by Monish

Short answer

Yes, and the answers are different from anywhere else. Asked for the UAE, the engines read UAE pages: Google Maps, the regulator registers (DHA, RERA, the FTA), noon and dubizzle, Bayut, the Gulf press. They answer per emirate, and a growing share of consumer questions are in Arabic, which few sites answer. The UAE pages on this site say what changes per trade.

What is specific to the UAE

The emirate in the sentence: 'in Dubai' and 'in Abu Dhabi' are answered from pages that name each. The licence: clinics, brokers, schools and tax agents are checked against the register. The free zone: DIFC, DMCC and JAFZA are asked about by name for legal, financial and logistics questions. And dirhams: 'under AED 50,000' is answered from pages with a dirham figure.

Arabic

Arabic questions are answered from Arabic pages, and in most trades there are few. A company with Arabic versions of its key pages is named in Arabic answers against thin competition. For B2B, English still carries most of it.
