Yes, and it is the easiest engine to work with, because every claim in its answer carries a numbered source. The page that put a rival in the answer is visible, so the fix is specific. Perplexity also reads forums and community threads more readily than the other engines, which opens a route that does not run through editors.
What Perplexity rewards
The direct answer at the top of the page, in the question's words. A page that answers 'how much does X cost' in its first sentence is cited; one that gets there in the fourth paragraph is not. And presence in the threads: a Reddit post titled 'best X for Y' is often source one.
What to allow
